I have been interested in training and dietary concepts since 1990, and I have owned a fitness studio since 2000. Like many young professionals, I assumed at the time that I was already an expert. But looking back, I have to say that in 1990 I probably possessed only one percent of my current knowledge, and barely more than 10 percent in 2000. In my early 20s I once weighed 108 kg and had a high body fat percentage. And however much I tried, my training and nutritional competence at the time was simply insufficient to achieve any long-term success.
